Waze and Google Maps are built for ordinary cars. They do not know that a license-free car or a 50cc scooter drives at 45 km/h and may not take the motorway. The result: dangerous routes and wrong travel times. TacTac is built for the opposite.

Any vehicle capped at 45 km/h and banned from motorways: microcars (Aixam, Ligier, Microcar, Chatenet, Citroën AMI, Fiat Topolino) as well as 50cc scooters and mopeds. The rule is simple: if you cannot take the motorway, TacTac is made for you.
Yes. A 50cc vehicle drives at 45 km/h and is allowed neither on the motorway nor on the expressway, exactly like a microcar. So TacTac works out routes with no road banned for the AM licence.
The engine relies on OpenStreetMap data and a routing profile capped at 45 km/h. It automatically excludes motorways, expressways and any road above 70 km/h.
